Policy A11 - Items for Sale in the SFL Sales Room

Purpose

To provide a tasteful, appropriate range of items in the sales room.

Policy

Items sold in the SFL Sales Room should be of broad interest to people in the SFL community.

The quantity of items should be manageable by the expected number of people staffing the Sales Room.

In general, items should be skiing or outdoor related.

Other acceptable items include products donated by corporate sponsors (when the donation is at least five of the same item), and perennial items such as Norwegian chocolate. Fewer numbers of items should be directed to the Silent Auction.

Items not eligible for sale in the SFL Sales Room include used clothing and ski equipment and items donated by individuals.

Any exception to this policy must be approved by the SFL Sales Room Coordinator, the Event Chair, and the SFL President.
