Policy A18 - Olav Pedersen Race and Rally

Purpose

To provide SFL attendees with an opportunity to test their skiing skills against the clock or themselves.

Policy

To provide challenging opportunities for both competitive and recreational skiers, SFL offers the Olav Pedersen Race and Rally:

• The ski race should be moderately challenging on a 10 km course.
• The ski rally asks skiers to equal a predicted time, without watches, over a gentle, measured course approximately 5 km.

Both skiers and their guides will be presented with awards for the best time in his/her predetermined race category and for the person closest to his/her predicted time in the rally.
