Policy C11 - Goodfellow Fund

Purpose

To maintain an ongoing fund to honor Marilou Goodfellow, a preschool teacher for visually impaired students. She became a guide for the Puget Sound Regional SFL and then the SFL International event. She lost her life in a float plane accident. A fund was created called the Goodfellow Fund, to honor her dedication to sharing the sport of cross-country skiing with people who have vision impairments.

Policy

Ski for Light shall maintain a fund called the Goodfellow Fund in honor of Marilou Goodfellow. Donations to the fund are to be used to support guides and guide-related activities at the International Event. Guide-related activities include such items as guide stipends, guide training, guide recruitment, etc.
