Policy C14 - Liability and Other Insurance

Purpose

To ensure that Ski for Light, Inc. is adequately protected against the possibility of adverse legal action against the corporation stemming from an accident or accidents incurred during one of its events, and to ensure that the Officers and Directors of the corporation are not held personally liable for the actions of the corporation.

Policy

SFL will obtain basic liability insurance and directors and officers insurance each year. Officers and directors are protected as long as they adhere to the policies of the organization. The policy will be reviewed each year to ensure that coverage is adequate.
