Policy C16 - Relationship with Regionals

Purpose

To define the relationship between Ski for Light, Inc. and regional programs that bear the Ski for Light name.

Policy

Ski for Light, Inc. coordinates with and serves as a role model for regional organizations that share its name. For reasons of risk and liability, the regional organizations operate independently from Ski for Light, Inc. Each regional organization is free to use the phrase "Ski for Light" in its name, or in any other manner that it sees fit, but they are not allowed to use the trademarked name, "Ski for Light, Inc." Ski for Light, Inc. will:

• Publicize regional events through its bulletin and website; and
• Provide information and other assistance when requested.

SFL Inc. assumes no liability for SFL regional organizations.
