7. Corporate Sponsors

While the Corporate Sponsor Committee is a standing committee of the Board, the purpose of this committee is to solicit products of all types to be sold during the International Week in the SFL store, in the Silent Auction and via the Raffle.

Pre-Event

• Attend the annual Outdoor Retailer show to solicit products for sale in the SFL store, Silent Auction or Raffle.
  • Priority should be given to obtaining multiples of the same outdoor or fitness-related item for sale in the SFL store.
  • One-of-a-kind higher-value items of all types are often suitable for sale in either the SFL store or in the Silent Auction.
  • If circumstances permit, endeavor to obtain the donation of a high-value item that would be suitable as a raffle grand prize.
• On December 1 send the list of anticipated supporting companies and organizations to the Event Journal coordinator for listing in the Event Program Journal.
• Prior to the event, inform the Sales Room, Silent Auction and Raffle coordinators what products are expected to be received for sale during the coming event.

International Week

Saturday

• Work with the Store and Silent Auction coordinators to determine the best use for each donated product.
