Thanks for your interest in spreading the word about Ski for Light! On this page, you’ll find a document containing talking points/speaking outline for a presentation as well as other materials that may be helpful before or during your presentation. Please use the Talking Points/Speaking Outline and the other materials on this page at your discretion to best meet the needs of the group to which you will be presenting.
These materials are primarily designed to help you provide a presentation raising awareness about and involvement in Ski for Light. While we always appreciate donations, the focus of these materials are to raise awareness about SFL.
You can print the materials linked below to handout as well as use the below links to access Ski for Light audio and video files.
If you need them, a limited number of printed copies of the materials and DVD copies of the videos are available from the chairperson of the Publicity and Public Relations Committee. SFL also has four tabletop banners measuring 11 by 14 inches with a light weight pop-up stand. There are four grommets in the corners of the banner which loop over pegs on the stand. The background is white with a thick dark blue border around the perimeter. The lettering is black. The SFL logo of the three skiers is located in the center of the banner which is positioned vertically. The words “Skiing, Sharing, Learning” are positioned in a gentle arc over the logo. The bottom left hand corner features a graphic of braille dots reading SFL. The bottom right hand corner says “sfl.org.” The banners can be wrapped around the collapsed stand and easily mailed to those who could use one for a presentation or display table at various events. Contact the chairperson of the Publicity and Public Relations Committee if you want to borrow a tabletop banner. Please allow at least three (3) weeks to receive any materials sent to you via U.S. mail.
If you have any questions about how to access or use these materials, please use the information below to contact the chairperson of the Publicity and Public Relations Committee. Finally, please let the Publicity and Public Relations Committee know how your presentation went so we can keep track of outreach efforts.
